Welcome from the Captain

On behalf of the members of Garforth Golf Club, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our club and our golf course.

After a very successful 2011 both on and off the course the club finds itself in an enviable position as we continue to invest in the course and the facilities. Our Head Green Keeper and his team have worked tirelessly over the last few months to prepare the course for what we believe will be an excellent golfing season, whilst off the course we have completed some further refurbishment of the club house facilities. We also have new Caterers and the menu is to say the least fulfilling in both quality and value.

Now in our 99th year, Garforth Golf Club has developed and evolved into a club and a course well worth a visit. Our web site is continually being updated and refreshed and we have recently introduced an on line tee booking system for our guests and open competitions to make booking with us even easier, adding a Twitter feed also gives us the ability to keep everyone up to date on our latest news, events and offers. Please take a good look around our web site we are sure you will find it very informative.

As I start my year in office the weather is improving, the course is improving and the outlook for Garforth Golf Club is improving, I am sure that everyone associated with our Club will join me in wishing everyone a successful 2012 and for those who come to play at Garforth we will do our ‘Yorkshire Best’ to make sure you have a memorable and enjoyable visit.
