This page provides helpful information to ensure your visit is as smooth and enjoyable as possible, whether you’re here for a round of golf, an event, or to explore our facilities. On Arrival

When you arrive at Garforth Golf Club, please follow the signage to the Professional’s Shop where you can register for your round. Our team will provide everything you need for the day, including scorecards and bag tags (which must be clearly visible while out on the course), along with any additional information relevant to your visit. We offer a visitors’ locker room where you can securely store your belongings during your round, as well as shower facilities with towels available for use afterwards. Access to the clubhouse is via a door code, which can be found in the Useful Information section below.

The above times are core hours. Society events and functions may necessitate the kitchen being open earlier and later times.

Practice Facilities

We also have a large practice field at Garforth Golf Club where you can warm up ahead of your round. We do not offer practice balls, instead operating a bring and collect your own balls. The practice field is approximately a five-minute walk from the clubhouse, but it can also be accessed by car if preferred. There is a chipping green on the practice field and a putting green next to the Professionals Shop.

Your Round

Please arrive at the first tee at least 10 minutes before your allocated tee time to ensure a smooth start to your round at Garforth Golf Club. A standard fourball should take no longer than four hours to complete the course, and we kindly ask that you remain aware of your position on the course to help maintain good pace of play. We also have a halfway house offering refreshments along with hot and cold food, which is typically open on Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and on busier visitor days. Please check with the Professional’s Shop before your round to confirm whether it will be open on the day of your visit.

The Clubhouse

Our bar is located on the first floor of the clubhouse and can be accessed from either end of the building. At Garforth Golf Club we offer a wide selection of refreshments to suit all tastes, along with hot and cold food served during our designated food service times (please refer to the above section for details).

Like most golf clubs, we operate a standard dress code and kindly ask all visitors to observe this during their visit. All areas of the bar, including the balcony, are open to both members and guests, providing a welcoming space to relax before or after your round.
